Initially found in the homonym state of the Brazilian Northeast, at the small distric of the city of Salgadinho, São José da Batalha, the Paraiba Tourmaline became one of the rarest and most precious gems in the world. Across the globe, only five mines produce this rarity: three of them in Brazil – the largest being found in the state of Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil Paraiba Mine – and two in Africa, with no records of its presence anywhere else in the world, fact that makes this gem even more special and coveted. The company is located in Mulungú site, in Parelhas, state of Rio Grande do Norte, 78 Km from the initial found, It is actually the place where the world's biggest  Paraiba Tourmaline mine  is located, with its gems recognized and certified by the most renowned gemology laboratories in the world, such as GIA (Gemological Institute of America), SSEF (Swiss Gemmological Institute), GRS (GemResearch Swisslab).
